Wow! It’s been a day! During their PE lesson
students who will participate in the exchange 2017 tried a sport of our Finish
partner! Football in slippers! – can you imagine that? We couldn’t! ;) However,
we were brave enough to give it a go! We overcame some obstacles - like the
weather (it was raining cats and dogs!) and missing slippers. Because of the
weather we decided to play in the gym. After quick warming-up exercises the match
started. It was exciting to play and it was exciting to watch!

supervised the whole match in order to make sure that all fair play rules were respected. However, there were no winners – we decided to play for pleasure and
points were not counted. It’s been a great experience – we certainly will
implement this kind of activity into our PE lessons. Thank you Finland for
sharing with us this aspect of your culture!
