Welcome to Finland!!

You’re wondering, “how to survive in Finland in January”?
No worries, just follow these simple instructions! :)

  1. It can get really cold in Finland in January so you better be prepared!! It’s a good idea to take your warmest clothes with you but don’t forget about the undergarment - the best way to stay warm is to have many layers of clothing on! Try to cover as much skin as possible - don’t forget your hat, gloves and a scarf!

  1. Finland is all about sauna and it’s a good way to warm up in the winter too! Nobody forces you to try it but if you want to have a true Finnish experience, it’s highly recommended! ;) Traditionally, Finns go to sauna naked but in public saunas it’s common to wear swimsuits / towels - so don’t forget to pack yours!

  1. Last but definitely not least: it’s very dark in Finland around this time of the year so remember to pack lots of bright spirit, positivity, and open-minded attitude with you! With these, you’ll manage in any situation! :)

Lots of love and Merry Christmas to you all from the land of the original Father Christmas!
    See you very soon! :)
