On
6 October teachers from our school participated in a conference
devoted to language teaching, testing and assessment. The conference
was organized by Mrs. Beata Tomaszewska who is the main advisor of
English language teaching in our region. What is more, matters
concerning students' mobility were also pondered over and various
forms of organizing those kinds of exchanges were discussed during
that event. It was a great possibility to promote both Erasmus+
projects that are implemented in our school. Our teachers
prepared a Power Point presentation which aim was to present main
information about those projects and their successful implementation
in Zespół Szkół nr 7.

Discussion about eating disorders (FIN, POL)
On 5 November, six students from Vesanto and 6 students from Torun had a discussion in eTwinning's TwinSpace chatroom on the topic of eating disorders. Here is a short summary of that discussion.
Eating disorders discussion
Most of people people knew someone who deal with eating disorders. No one have ever had health problems on a diet. No one has ever been on a special diet except one is vegetarian. Many persons said that they eat 5 meals per day but someone eats only 3. Finnish people eat normal homemade food. To help people suffering from eating disorders you can try to support them. A family and friends are important. You can talk about that and try to get them help. We thought that there is a connection between the image of beautiful body by the mass media and the eating disorders. That´s because the social media makes the false image of body. A discussion was great and mind-opening.

On 5 November we were talking with students from
Finland about eating disorders. All of us know people who deal with eating
disorders. But no one had health problems due to extreme diets. Most of
students weren’t on a diet, but one girl tried to become a vegetarian once.
Participants of this conversation generally eat five meals a day. To help people suffering from anorexia or bulimia we
can talk with them and support them in this way. Unfortunately, there is a
strong connection between the image of beautiful body advertised by the mass media
and the eating disorders. However, by discussing those subjects we can become
more aware of this problem and we can try to find means of solving it.
