Organic and locally produced food (Poland)



In March our students studied the difference between organic and locally produced food, analyzed their disadvantages and advantages, researched where we can buy those kinds of products in Toruń. In this task there were involved biology and English teachers from our school who conducted lessons devoted to that subject.

Meeting with dietician (IT)

On 13th  March 2015
The Erasmus + students's group had a meeting with the dietician Catia Silighini, who is a member of A.U.S.L. group; The students dealt with the guidelines for a healthy and correct nutrition, starting from the information already posted on the project blog that she had already consulted.
The meeting/debate was full of ideas, as shown by the several students' questions.

Guidelines for a healthy and correct nutrition

-Check your weight and keep always active;
-Eat more cereals, pulses, vegetables and fruits;
-Fats:choose the quality and not the quantity
-Sugars, sweets and sugary drinks:within proper limits;
-Drink water in abundance everyday;
-Salt? less is better
-Alcoholic drinks: if yes, only in controlled quantity;
-Vary your food choice at every meal;
-Special advice for special people
-The safety of food depends on us.
